The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope (Annika Noelle) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will struggle to get back on the same page. Things were seemingly going so well in their blended family unit. Hope understood that Liam (Scott Clifton) still needed to be there for Steffy and Kelly. Likewise, Steffy was supportive of Hope’s pregnancy and expressed concern for her little one.
Liam was pleased to see the women in his life coming together and connecting. Unfortunately, Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) move threw all their progress out the window. He felt like he had no choice but to scale back one Forrester line, so that brought out Steffy and Hope’s true colors. Now their feud’s going strong once again.
Of course, we have to wonder who’s right and who’s wrong here. Despite his claims, Ridge wasn’t capable of making this strictly about business. He naturally kept his own daughter’s line intact, especially after everything she’s been through lately. How could Ridge pour salt in Steffy’s wound? That just wasn’t an option, but this outcome wasn’t exactly fair to Hope either.
Hope’s been working on her line for far longer, so she had more to lose in terms of what she’s accomplished. She feels like she lost out due to nepotism and Steffy’s typical manipulation. No one can blame Hope for being frustrated.
On the other hand, Hope already won a major battle. She scored B&B’s front-and-center hunk, Liam, so should she really be complaining? Maybe Hope should give it a rest and accept that Ridge threw Steffy a bone. Steffy needed this victory more, so she got it.
Besides, Steffy’s probably right about sex selling better than lofty morals. What’s going to help Forrester’s profits more: hot lingerie or overpriced scarves with a message? The answer is clear! Unless The Bold and the Beautiful brings in a sabotage element, there’s no reason to think the intimates line won’t take off.
