The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers update for Tuesday, October 9, tease that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will continue their heated conversation about Ridge’s judge tampering. Brooke’s fresh from a meeting with Judge McMullen (Joe Lando), who spilled what Ridge did but insisted that his ruling was based on the evidence.
Look for Brooke to continue to lay into Ridge as he begs her to keep what he did a secret from everybody. But Brooke will have other ideas; she’ll think that Bill (Don Diamont) has a right to know why he lost the custody case. Ridge may try to appease Brooke by suggesting that Katie (Heather Tom) can let Bill have access to Will (Finnegan George) and ultimately it won’t matter that he influenced the judge in the custody case.
Ridge will probably also point out that if Brooke tells anyone about what he did, then he could very well go to jail. B&B spoilers indicate that despite being angry with Ridge, she will want to avoid him getting into trouble with the law, so she’ll agree not to tell Bill about what Ridge did. But privately she will plan to fill Katie in on what went down.
Next, on the new B&B episode on Tuesday, October 9, Katie will find herself very moved by Bill’s affection toward Will. It seems that the custody ruling has really made Bill put things into proper perspective. Katie will notice Bill’s change in attitude and demeanor around Will, and she’ll see Will’s reaction to his dad’s newfound affectionate side.
It will be interesting to see how Katie reacts when Brooke ultimately tells her about how Ridge rigged the outcome of the custody case in her favor. Katie will be in a real bind, because on the one hand she’ll want to see justice done, but on the other hand she won’t want to interfere with all of the positive things that are going on between Bill and Will right now. She’ll know that if Bill ever finds out about Ridge’s judge tampering, it could bring back Vindictive Bill and compromise his relationship with Will.
