The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers report that Ingo Rademacher (Thorne Forrester) will not be renewing his contract with the CBS soap opera. Ingo’s last scenes as Thorne will air in January 2019. At this time, no one knows how Thorne Forrester will be written out of the storyline. To be honest, it wouldn’t be hard to write him out. He has rarely been on the show in the past three months.
Winsor Harmon Returns as Thorne Forrester?
Immediately after Rademacher confirmed his exit on Instagram, B&B fans flocked to Winsor Harmon’s Twitter page to let him know theys want him back on The Bold and the Beautiful ASAP. With Ingo exiting the role, many expressed that it would be the perfect time to bring back “the real Thorne.”
At this point, Winsor has not commented to Rademacher’s exit, but he has retweeted several tweets that suggested he should and could reprise the role.
Recast in the Works?
It isn’t clear what B&B’s head scribe Bradley Bell has planned for Thorne. Many times, Thorne is used for propping up other characters, rarely getting his own storyline. Bold and Beautiful viewers would love to see Thorne in a leading role, instead of a supporting role to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) or Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
It wouldn’t surprise B&B fans if Bell decided not to recast the role or bring Harmon back as Thorne. The writer has never seemed to liked writing for Thorne. Bell could have made him such an amazing character and paired him with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) instead of Ridge, but he didn’t.
Bold tried to revamp Thorne, but they couldn’t seem to get it right. In the end, Ingo decided it wasn’t the role for him and decided to walk away.
