Carson announces that the semi-finalists will be revealed tonight. The judges take the stage. Charlie Puth performs his hit single Done For Me.
The Top 10 sit down with their mothers in celebration of Mother’s Day. Britton’s mother talks about when he performed when he was younger and he failed. She had a good laugh. Jackie’s mother remembers her always dressing up and singing.
The Top 10 take center stage for some results. From Team Blake, Kyla is safe. From Team Alicia, Britton is also safe.
The remaining eight talk about how grueling their schedules are. Christiana eats a lot of cheeseburgers. Pryor just wants to move on, move forward and make music.
Carson announces that Team Kelly’s Brynn is headed to the semi-finals. America also saved Jackie from Team Alicia.
The Top 10 play a game of emojis that will clue them into famous song titles they have to guess.
The remaining 6 artists are brought back out to find out if they will make it into the semi-finals. Kaleb talks about being in the top 10. He thanks Kelly for her inspiration. Spensha talks about how God is her strength. Blake has given her a lot of life advice. Carson announces that Pryor is safe from Team Blake. America also saved Kalen from Team Kelly.
Five Seconds of Summer take the stage to perform.
The four remaining artists are brought back out. Jackie talks about what she has loved about being in this competition. America saved Spensha.
The remaining 3 will have to sing but only 1 will be saved. Christiana takes the stage to sing Unchain My Heart. Alicia tells her she is special and powerful. She is one of a kind.
Jackie from team Adam takes the stage to sing. Adam is in shock to see her in the bottom as well as Rayshun. He isn’t going to beg America to save them. He knows they have talent. He makes Jackie promise she will continue signing.
Rayshun takes the stage. He sings Let’s Get It On.
The remaining 3 are brought back to the stage while America votes who they want to save. Carson gives America 5 minutes.
Carson asks Christiana if she wants to say anything to Alicia if this is the last time she is here. She tells Alicia she will keep fighting. Jackie tells Adam she plans to continue singing and perform her own style. Rayshun tells Adam thank-you for trusting him and giving him the chance to do his thing.
Adam announces that America has saved Rayshun.
