The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Devon (Bryton James) is in for some more tough times ahead. It’s been several months since Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and their unborn child perished in a car accident. Devon was understandably devastated by the turn of events, and he’s been quietly coping ever since.
Devon has been throwing himself into work and limiting his social engagements lately. He came out of his shell a bit at Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) bachelor party, but he didn’t stay long or really feel like celebrating. It’s clear that Devon still carries the loss with him closely.
And now the holidays are coming up, and Devon may find himself feeling lonely and depressed without Hilary. Sure, Neil (Kristoff St. John), Nate (Darnell Brooks), and Cane (Daniel Goddard) will see to it that Devon’s surrounded by family and friends for the holidays, and that will help considerably.
It also looks like Devon will be getting a blast from the past. Y&R spoilers say that someone important from Devon’s past will resurface and could be the key to getting his life back. Could it be a potential new love interest for Devon? It seems too soon for Devon to get a new romance started, but he could certainly develop a friendship with someone that might eventually lead to a romantic pairing.
Hopefully, whoever comes into Devon’s life will help him to re-integrate back into the social scene. He really needs to open up and let others in, and a new friendship may be the perfect start.
