The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Kyle (Michael Mealor) will find himself in possession of a big secret. Kyle’s the king of schemes and plots, and he likes to be in control of situations, often working behind the scenes with secret knowledge. That’s why he’ll get very intrigued when Dina (Marla Adams) indicates that there’s something at Jabot that needs to be retrieved pronto.
Of course, Dina has Alzheimer’s and frequently gets agitated about things that don’t readily make sense to anyone but her. But Kyle has a special relationship with his grandmother and always takes the time to appease her when she’s upset. So, he’ll listen to her and as she starts to tell him what she’s concerned about, he’ll get intrigued.
Y&R spoilers say that in her agitation, Dina will reference a safe that John (Jerry Douglas) used in his office at Jabot. This will immediately interest Kyle as a possible source of information that could potentially give him leverage at Jabot. His mission will suddenly go from wanting to help his grandmother to wanting to find out what could be in that safe, if it exists.
Kyle and Dina will head over to Jabot together, and viola! Kyle will find the safe just where Dina said it would be. The safe will be hidden in the wall – perhaps intentionally, perhaps not – but clearly it will have been a long time since it was last accessed. Could the last person to access the safe have been John Abbott?
Kyle will soon find out, as he’ll be able to get the safe open with relative ease. Y&R spoilers say that Kyle will be shocked by what he finds inside. Whatever it ends up being, it’s likely to have far-reaching impact on the Abbott family. Chances are, life for the Abbotts won’t ever be the same.
