The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will decide to do something drastic. She’ll be determined to stop Devon (Bryton James) from making a huge mistake. Lily’s convinced that Devon will never be rid of Hilary (Mishael Morgan) if he has a baby with her. Since she won’t be able to get through to him, Lily will feel like she has to halt the plan herself.
In Wednesday’s episode, March 14, Lily overhears Hilary making an insemination appointment. It looks like that’ll spark a big idea. Lily has no problem with Hilary having a child and doing her own thing. She probably doesn’t think any kid deserves Hilary as a mom, but it’s none of her business. Lily just doesn’t want Devon to be the father.
That’s why a sperm swap may be imminent. Lily may switch Devon’s sample for another one and hope that it’ll blow the whole plan. She wouldn’t even consider who the biological dad might turn out to be. Lily will just be focused on keeping Devon out of this mess.
This sounds like a recipe for disaster! The father would likely be someone significant to Young and the Restless viewers. Which characters might be contenders? Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) mentioned that he donated sperm, so he might be an option. There was also a casting call a while back for “Don,” an African-American hottie. This could be an interesting introduction strategy.
Billy (Jason Thompson) recently gave Hilary some advice, so their bond is growing. He even had a baby discussion with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) at one point. Those may have been hints about his involvement in this upcoming mess.
Of course, Y&R could also set up a twist of fate and have Cane (Daniel Goddard) be the “baby daddy.” Can you imagine if Lily inadvertently made Cane the father of Hilary’s child? She’d never hear the end of it!
No matter whose sample is used, there’s bound to be a way for Y&R to explain it.
