The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 26, tease that the Abbott clan’s chaos will continue. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) have been caught in a fierce power struggle. Their conflict has been going on for years, but it’s reached an all-time high over the past few episodes.
Thanks to the contract Traci (Beth Maitland) put back together, Jabot’s fate may lie in Ashley’s hands. If she goes after what belongs to her, the company could go bankrupt. That’s not what Ashley wants, but she’ll use the threat to her advantage.
In Thursday’s new Y&R episode, October 25, Ashley pushes to be reinstated as CEO. She’s not interested in money or anything else Jack has to offer. On Friday, Jack and the rest of the family will weigh in on Ashley’s demands. We should note that Ashley’s final airdate will be Monday, October 29. Obviously, Ashley won’t be sticking around to run Jabot. That means they’ll all have to find another solution.
Sending Ashley off canvas on bad terms with her loved ones seems cruel. Y&R fans would hate that, especially since Eileen Davidson isn’t eager to make a comeback anytime soon. Davidson admitted she might return for a party or something down the road, but nothing’s set in stone. That’s why we need a peaceful resolution right now.
Will Jack and Ashley work through their issues for once? Will they stop shouting and get down to the nitty-gritty? Since the Jabot throne has been such a source of contention, Jack may think they should both back off. He might suggest that he can stay at Dark Horse and Ashley can have another position. There must be some overseas division that desperately needs Ashley’s talents.
Whatever the case, Ashley will bid the fam bon voyage soon. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that a brave move is coming up. Ashley should tell her loved ones goodbye on Monday and ride off into the sunset for her next adventure. It’ll be tough to watch Ashley leave, but at least she’s going out with a bang! Davidson’s been crushing it with these scenes leading up to her exit.
As for the aftermath of Ashley’s decision, the vacant CEO spot will cause drama. Billy (Jason Thompson) will make a play for it, but it just might be Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) who snatches it up!
