The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Graham’s (Max Shippee) about to play dirtier than ever. He came back on a mission to retrieve Dina (Marla Adams) and make the Abbotts suffer. It’s clear that Graham means business this time around, but the whole setup seems awfully familiar.
This is basically a repeat of Graham’s previous war with the Abbotts. Y&R’s just throwing in a couple extra secrets, like his marriage to Dina, and revving up the ruthlessness of it all. The show probably wanted to tie up some loose ends and find a way to finish off this part of Dina’s story.

It’s obvious that Graham can’t be the real winner here. Even if he scores some minor victories, the Jack (Peter Bergman) and the others will prevail in the end. The Young and the Restless can’t let Dina remain under Graham’s control as his wife, especially as her mental state declines. There would be outrage if Dina was taken advantage of for too long.
Y&R plans to milk this drama for all it’s worth before beginning the next phase. There are a few ways this could go. It’s possible Graham will realize how wrong he was and decide to leave town. He could understand that he’s been cruel, apologize and exit to reflect on his terrible choices. That won’t happen.
Another option would involve that same guilty conscience, but a different outcome. Instead of leaving, Graham could remain in Genoa City and try to redeem himself. Many Young and the Restless fans seem to like Graham, even as a bad guy. If he turned things around, that might bump up his likeability even more. While Graham is popular, the fact that he left Dina for dead in the hotel room renders his redemption highly unlikely.
Graham could even move out of the Abbotts’ orbit and interact with some new characters. That might be a fun choice for the CBS soap. However, there’s a third option and it’s a dark one. Again, Y&R’s essentially repeating the Graham and Abbott conflict. A huge twist is necessary to make it interesting and keep viewers engaged.
If they want this hostility to go anywhere exciting, the end result needs to be wildly different. Fizzling out would be disappointing since that’s what happened last time. Could the show wrap all this up with a shocking death?
Graham’s been pretty vicious lately, so a murder wouldn’t be out of the question. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Graham should definitely watch his back! He’s making himself quite a target at the moment. Could Dina kill Graham, accidentally or intentionally in what would be tremendous soap karma – nobody could claim he didn’t deserve it!
