The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) could be making a huge mistake. She really needs to give up and let Nick (Joshua Morrow) make his own choices. Phyllis wants to wrap the guy in bubble wrap, but that’s just not how life works in Genoa City. There are always going to be crazy obstacles and foolish decisions. It isn’t Phyllis’ job to protect Nick anyway.
No one ever seems to listen in this soapy town. Nick refuses to take Phyllis’ advice just like she won’t take Billy’s (Jason Thompson). However, Phyllis could be the one who gets burned in the end. She could pay a steep price for ignoring Billy’s warning. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will eventually infuriate Billy with a bold move. He’ll no longer be able to tolerate Phyllis’ behavior.
This will definitely cause a bump in the road for “Philly,” but will it cause an actual breakup? That’s certainly a risk here. Phyllis may not think she did anything wrong, which could make matters worse. Billy may bail on Phyllis until she can figure out what’s appropriate. That could set up another round of juicy drama.
Y&R fans know that Billy and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) have formed a bond lately. They’re not exactly close, but they could be. Billy gave Hilary some guidance not too long ago. She seems to value his opinion, so they could easily form a deeper connection. Hilary and Billy are already sort of kindred spirits. These characters have both tried to find better paths.
Billy and Hilary could soon have something else in common. They could find themselves incredibly frustrated by the people they love. Hilary has no intention of giving up on Devon (Bryton James) as her “baby daddy.” If he continues to shut down the idea, Hilary will undoubtedly get annoyed.
Meanwhile, Billy will be fed up with Phyllis and her Nick obsession. Could all of this lead to a Hilary and Billy hookup? They might regret it afterward, but it could be an important part of the plot. When Hilary first mentioned the sperm donor plan, Billy joked about being the perfect candidate. That could’ve been a hint about what’s to come.
The Young and the Restless could do a paternity mystery if Hilary sleeps with Billy and has sex with Devon a short time later. Let’s say Hilary and Devon have a fight that leads her to Billy’s bed. Then, Devon could change his mind and decide he’s all in. He could tell Hilary he wants both a reunion and a baby. They could seal with the deal with lovemaking and set up Hilary’s worst nightmare.
