The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Sharon (Sharon Case), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will focus on the next crisis. Another one’s obviously looming! They’ve tackled the Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) situation, but other threats are still out there. It won’t be long until the cover-up crew is once again dealing with major drama.
The four of them managed to keep the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) secret to themselves for quite a while. However, the truth is slowly trickling out. Tessa found the footage while doing some busy work at Dark Horse, which led to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) being brought in the loop. Now we’ve got six people who know what really happened at girls’ night, but there may be more before the truth explodes publicly.
It’s a no-brainer for Victor (Eric Braeden) to find out at some point. In fact, he may know already. It’s tough to pull one over on Victor, so it’s possible he moved J.T.’s body and has been protecting the cover-up posse. Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will become part of this storyline when he eventually returns to Genoa City.
Could someone else learn the whole story in the meantime? There’s one person who should really find out before Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) or anyone else. Of course, we’re talking about Nick (Joshua Morrow). He’s got a connection to every part of Y&R’s J.T. plot.
Nick’s mom, sister, live-in girlfriend and ex are the four main characters involved. He’d have every reason to protect them, but he’d also be rocked by the secret. Nick also impersonated J.T. while they kept him in the dark on the guy’s death. That’s another link that’d be interesting to address.
Tessa also happens to be Nick’s employee and he’s got a special relationship with Mariah, too. The Young and the Restless has all their bases covered here. This secret is tied to Nick in every way, so they might as well make him part of it.
With that in mind, how might Nick learn the truth? It’s possible Y&R could go for something simple like eavesdropping or spying. Phyllis will hide a secret from Nick on Friday, so he could get suspicious and start snooping. Then again, maybe there are some lingering J.T. files floating around. Tessa uncovered evidence, but there might be some she missed. Nick could just as easily stumble across it.
Whatever the case, it’d be great for Y&R to include Nick in this story before the big blowup. Do you think Nick will become the next cover-up crew member?
