The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is making a huge mistake. Now that Mia’s (Noemi Gonzalez) is in Genoa City, Rey’s ready to give his marriage another shot. He’s trying to put distance between himself and Sharon (Sharon Case), which obviously isn’t going to work out. They’ve grown accustomed to having each other’s backs and keeping their bond strong.
Rey and Sharon admitted their feelings, but they’ll try to them in check for the sake of Rey’s relationship with Mia. Sharon wasn’t keen on rebounding that fast anyway, so she’s undoubtedly telling herself it’s for the best. However, things could change in the near future. Y&R fans know Mia has a history with Arturo (Jason Canela). They were in love first, so there’s a powerful connection to consider.
Mia claims she wants to repair the damage with Rey, but is she just playing games? She was coming on way too strong with Arturo recently. Mia seems to think she can string him along and keep her marriage to Rey intact, too. Abby (Melissa Ordway) intends to fight for her man, which could also be a big mistake. Perhaps her recent cheating fears were justified.
Y&R wouldn’t have given Mia and Arturo a past together if there wasn’t going to be temptation. You can bet it’ll strike harder than ever pretty soon. Mia might witness a close moment between Sharon and Rey. That could spark her desire to seek out Arturo for revenge sex.
Then again, maybe Mia doesn’t need a new reason at all. The draw of her former flame might be enough to make this happen. Naturally, Rey would find out about it. You just can’t get away with a betrayal in Genoa City. Sooner or later, the truth always comes out!
The Young and the Restless could be setting up a reason for Rey to cave in. He’s battling temptation as well and it involves his desire for Sharon. One good hookup deserves another, so Rey might realize Mia’s betrayed him and let himself go after what he really wants. This could be the final hurdle to sleeping with Sharon and sparking even more complications.
We can’t forget that Sharon and Rey are keeping major secrets from each other. She’s part of the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) cover-up club and Rey’s been keeping tabs on her because of it. That’s the whole reason Sharon was brought on board at the GCPD. Hooking up could certainly add to the drama later!
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon and Rey will remain too close for comfort. Y&R’s got a sizzling couple cooking, but it’ll take some work to get them to something solid. We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
