The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) will come to town with big secrets. He’ll hope to crack the case of J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) disappearance and take down the people responsible. Naturally, that’ll put him in the cover-up crew’s orbit. The girls’ night gang will definitely face an unexpected threat in the near future.
Rey’s investigation is already in progress off screen, but things will really heat up once he arrives in Genoa City. After his debut in Friday’s Y&R episode, Rey will start by grilling Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). His detective work should eventually lead him to believe Victor isn’t involved.
Of course, Rey may not get very far with Nikki either. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) could also be difficult to pry info out of. It may not be long until Rey focuses on Sharon (Sharon Case) as the weakest link. She’s arguably got a softer personality than the other ladies. Plus, Sharon will be a vulnerable place thanks to some shockers that are brewing.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will open up to a new pal next week. Could that be Rey? It’s possible he’ll waltz in Crimson Lights and start chatting with Sharon. Rey might strike up a conversation and ultimately get Sharon to lower her guard a bit.
Rey could turn into a regular at the coffeehouse and become a shoulder to cry on down the road. Sharon will definitely need somebody once Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) betrayal comes to light. Y&R fans can also expect more Mariah (Camryn Grimes) drama soon. The Young and the Restless buzz hints that Rey may pitch in with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Crystal’s (Morgan Obenreder) rescue somehow.
If Mariah confides in her mom, Sharon might turn to Rey for help. Regardless, it looks like Rey and Sharon will start bonding. That could lead to a tricky situation for these two. They’ll both be keeping major secrets, but love might start to bloom anyway.
Will deception get in the way of their flying sparks or will it be what saves Sharon and her fellow secret-keepers? Will Rey change his mind thanks to his growing feelings?
