The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that the tension between Summer (Hunter King) and Lola (Sasha Calle) will really heat up. Lola heard Kyle (Michael Mealor) tell Summer off recently, but that doesn’t mean that Summer will give up on Kyle. It really burns Summer that Kyle is hanging out with Lola, and Summer would probably do anything to interfere in their relationship.
One thing’s for sure: Summer is not going to be far out of Kyle’s orbit anytime soon. She tends to want what she can’t have, so Kyle is probably going to seem even more attractive to her than he did before. Plus, she likes pushing Kyle’s buttons, so look for that to continue.
However, there could be a problem with Summer’s continued pursuit of Kyle. She recently slept with Billy (Jason Thompson), in what she thought was going to be the start of a beautiful new relationship. But then she found out that Billy was just using her to get back at Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) for their tryst.
What if Summer turns out to be pregnant from her night with Billy? Think about the turmoil it would cause. Phyllis and Nick would be outraged as well as horrified, and it would be a total scandal at Jabot. Billy would have a lot of explaining to do to his friends and loved ones.
And it would be a big strain on Summer, too, especially since she’s suddenly so into Kyle and wanting to interfere with Kyle and Lola’s relationship. She might have difficulty wooing Kyle if she’s pregnant with another man’s baby, but she could certainly play the “I need a friend” card and use her pregnancy to come between Kyle and Lola that way. And it would be just like Summer to do so.
