The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, February 1, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will have a decision to make. In Wednesday’s episode, Cane finally brings up Lily’s struggles with Sam. They clear the air and head out on a date night to strengthen their connection.
Once Lily’s had a little break from the baby bonding, she might agree to put more effort into it. Lily’s having trouble seeing Sam as part of her family. She still has painful memories of Cane’s hookup with Juliet (Laur Allen), so Sam is a harsh reminder of that difficult time.
However, Cane and Lily are committed to this reunion. Since Sam’s part of the deal, Lily will just have to keep trying. In return, Cane can be patient and understanding. This is all pretty new for Lily, so things will undoubtedly get better as the weeks go on. Lily and Cane will likely decide they’re in this together, no matter how long it takes.
Meanwhile, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) working arrangement will lead to serious issues. Thanks to Devon’s (Bryton James) new GC Buzz purchase, the former make-out partners will be forced to interact often. That’ll be particularly problematic for Mariah. She’s still fuming over Tessa’s betrayal, so the tension will quickly erupt.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that a fight will break out, so Devon will have to intervene. He’ll urge Tessa and Mariah to strive for a drama-free workplace. This conflict obviously won’t help them do their jobs. Mariah and Tessa should settle down, so this could be a step toward repairing the damage between them.
Other Y&R spoilers say Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will pursue a surprising lead. Wednesday’s new Y&R episode, January 31, brings some interesting updates from Ravi (Abhi Sinha). The Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) 2.0 site has been hacked and copied. On Thursday, Phyllis will try to figure out who’s been selling the knockoffs. She’ll eventually demand answers from Chelsea, so she may think the designer herself is responsible.
