The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 1, tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will worry about her son. Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) will be missing from the house, so Victoria will fear he’s going to confess. She’ll fill Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in on Reed’s latest admission and suggest that he might be headed to the police station.
Meanwhile, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Christine Williams (Laralee Bell) will prep for some interrogations. Dr. Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will all be in stuck in holding cells.
Once Rey appears, he’ll bicker with Victor and insist that he has every right to keep him there. Victor will be most concerned about where his wife is.
Rey will promise that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is safe and receiving the proper treatment. However, Nate will continue to fret. When Rey grills him about the kidnapping, Nate will insist that his patient was the priority. He was doing what he had to do for Nikki’s sake.
Nate will argue that Rey is just working him for Victor info. He’ll think Nikki’s the one who’s really suffering here. Nate will maintain that Nikki needs his help, so Christine will decide to let him check in at the hospital.
Back with Nick, he’ll imply that he’s not going to help Rey take down Victor. Nick will stand his ground, but you can bet Rey will try to break him.
Victoria will also stop by the station looking for Reed. She’ll lie that she thought Reed might’ve been searching for answers about Nikki. Since Reed won’t be there, Victoria will dash off to the hospital.
She’ll be prevented from having a real visit with Nikki, but she’ll manage to shout out that Nick and Victor are in lockup. Next, Nikki and Christine will argue about the kidnapping.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will claim it was all her idea. She’ll assure Christine that she wasn’t kidnapped and pleaded with Victor to go along with it. Christine will be skeptical, but Nikki will vow to slap her with a wrongful prosecution lawsuit if this goes any further.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’ll give a hungover Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) some coffee as well as a pep talk. Cane will feel like Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) isn’t the same person anymore, but Devon will have hope for the future.
Later, Victoria will confront Cane about Charlie Ashby’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) actions. She’ll drop the hit-and-run bomb and start a fierce fight.
Cane will think Reed’s the one who keeps making mistakes on the road. He’ll feel like Victoria’s just playing the blame game. Victoria will contend that Charlie wanted to hide his involvement. She’ll insist that Cane taught Charlie to be exactly like him, which will lead to some personal insults.
Victoria will snarl that Lily deserves far better than a guy like Cane. He’ll fire back that Victoria’s perpetually lonely and can’t keep a man. Suddenly, they’ll crash their lips into each other for some hot kisses. Y&R fans won’t want to miss this steamy encounter!
Finally, Rey and Christine will determine how to proceed. Although Chris won’t be sure they have enough evidence, Rey will want to move forward with Victor’s downfall. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Christine will ultimately cave in. She’ll tell Victor he’s being charged with the murder of J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill)!
