The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will find out some stunning info later this week. She’ll make a major discovery involving J.T. (Thad Luckinbell), so she might walk in on him popping pills. If not, Nikki could at least find the bottle and confront J.T. about it.
At first, Nikki may be quite concerned about J.T’s health. She might suggest that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) needs to know if he’s ill. Nikki will undoubtedly want to help if she can. However, J.T. may need a different kind of help. He might be addicted to painkillers and that could spell bad news for his romance.
Nikki could figure that out if J.T. has a strange reaction to her questions. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will have to find out the truth eventually. Nikki may provide updates or force J.T. to come clean. Regardless, Victoria will learn what’s up and J.T. will have to give her some answers.
Before J.T.’s return to Y&R, there was plenty of buzz about his planned storyline. Some inside sources hinted that J.T. was going to abuse Victoria or had possibly abused Mac (Clementine Ford). That story might have been scrapped in favor of a drug addiction. Of course, it’s also possible there was some miscommunication. Perhaps J.T.’s simply an abuser in a different sense of the word.
Whatever the case, it certainly looks like J.T. could be an addict. That’s the first sign of his looming exit. Maybe Victoria will take charge and hold an intervention. She might get Victor (Eric Braeden) on board with a plan. The Newmans surely know all the best treatment centers.
Victoria could push J.T. to get in a rehab program and seek the assistance he needs. His recovery is what’s most important here. Victoria might insist there’ll be time for their romance later. If J.T. is indeed hooked on drugs, he has to focus on himself before he can focus on his family.
Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) could share some sweet scenes with J.T. as well. He might promise to straighten up if J.T. does the same. They could make a deal to head down better paths. Unfortunately, Victoria may lose J.T. once he gets some help. He might clean up his act and earn another shot with Mac.
