Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, September 20, tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will make a comeback in Salem. It’ll be great to see Lucas again, but his reason for visiting will be a somber one. That’s because Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is dying in a hospital bed – and hope is fading more and more by the minute.
DOOL fans can expect some devastating news for Lucas on Friday. He’ll seek updates from Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), but he won’t like what he learns. Kayla will admit there’s really nothing else they can do for Kate. She’ll know this is tough to hear, but she’ll think he should prepare for a loss. Kayla will offer Lucas her sympathy and let him know there’s pretty much no chance of Kate waking up.
Lucas will break down in tears as he embraces Will Horton (Chandler Massey). They love Kate dearly, so it’ll definitely be difficult to let go. Lucas will need some time before he officially decides to pull the plug, but he’ll have Will to lean on. That should help as get ready to say goodbye.
Of course, Days spoilers say Kate will survive at the end of all this. Some huge twists are brewing, so Kate’s family is in for a shock. For now, Will’s going to do a little eavesdropping. He’ll overhear Vivian Alamain (Robin Strasser) talking to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), so an incriminating comment or two may slip out.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) will be confronted soon enough. After Will hears something he shouldn’t, he’ll demand to know if Vivian shot Kate. Gabi will be on the hot seat by the time Monday rolls around, but there’ll be plenty of other drama going on this Friday. Just ask Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves)!
Dr. Henry Shah (Piter Marek) will berate Jennifer for rejecting him over and over. He’ll make it clear that it’s her fault she’s in this predicament. Fortunately, Jennifer will manage to send Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) a helpful text. It’ll give Jack a big clue about Jenn’s location and set up a major showdown with Dr. Shah next week.
Friday’s episode will also deliver a grilling session. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will want the scoop on Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) pregnancy. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) inadvertently spilled the beans, so he’ll realize he’s got a problem on his hands.
