Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen) will be feeling protective. She has stood by and watched as Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva) have led the charge against her sister Haley Chen (Thia Megia), and she hasn’t liked it, but she hasn’t done anything about it, either.
But that’s about to change. Melinda was willing to stand by and watch for so long, but she’s going to get to the point where she’s had enough. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, after Haley publicly admits that her marriage to Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) is a sham, Melinda will know that Haley’s situation is dire, so she’ll take drastic action.
In a shocking move, Melinda will admit what many DOOL viewers have suspected for some time – that she is not Haley’s sister, but in fact Haley’s mother. It’s a secret that Melinda has kept for years, but she’ll spill it in order to try to save Haley from deportation.
Unfortunately, her disclosure won’t mean much, and ICE will nevertheless start immediate deportation proceedings for Haley. Haley will be taken into custody but will eventually escape with JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and go on the run.
But that won’t stop Melinda from being furious with the person who set Haley’s deportation proceedings in motion…Jack. According to DOOL spoilers, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) will bump into an angry Melinda who will indicate that she’s going to take care of the person responsible for Haley’s predicament.
Melinda will then proceed to whip out a loaded gun and wave it around, clearly indicating how she plans to “take care of” Jack. Jennifer will be stunned and it looks like she’ll be faced with the task of talking Melinda down and getting her to put the gun away. Yikes.
Of course, Melinda and everyone else will soon find out that Haley and JJ are on the run together, so that may calm down Melinda a little bit. At least Haley will be safe from deportation for the time being, and maybe that will give Melinda some time to get things straight with ICE and establish Haley’s citizenship since she’s Melinda’s daughter.
