Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso) will soon embark on a new tactic to keep her daughter Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) away from Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Hope truly believes that Ben set fire to the cabin, that he’ll never be reformed, and that he poses an on-going danger to Ciara. And nothing can dissuade her of these beliefs.
Of course, Ben didn’t help his case with Hope when he took a job running security for Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher). From Ben’s perspective, he simply couldn’t get another job in town, and he needed a means to make a living. Working for Stefan provides him stability, income, and a place to live.
But Hope sees Ben’s decision to work for Stefan as just another example of Ben being dangerous and unethical. Stefan has done terrible things to the people that Hope loves, including Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) and she would like to get him behind bars just as much as she’d like to get Ben behind bars.
But somewhere along the line, Hope will get a bright idea. Her attempt to get Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) to reel Ben in totally failed, but she’ll start to wonder whether Stefan might provide an avenue to somehow put Ben behind bars. She knows that Stefan works closely with Ben, and she’ll theorize that Ben might be willing to share some dark secrets with Stefan.
So, Hope will approach Stefan and put pressure on him to turn on Ben. It’s hard to imagine Stefan willingly helping Hope, but Days spoilers say that Stefan will soon be in a world of legal trouble when he’s arrested for espionage by Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Might Hope offer to lessen Stefan’s legal burden if he agrees to work against Ben?
Stefan would certainly be in a unique position to help Hope get Ben. Ben would probably never suspect that Stefan would be working with the police or secretly recording him. Still, though, Ben’s pretty sharp and he would probably get suspicious if Stefan suddenly started goading him for information about who set the cabin fire, and so forth.
