Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some fantastic news to pass on about Jen Lilley, who portrayed Theresa Donovan on the NBC soap. People Magazine is reporting that Jen is pregnant she and her husband, Jason Wayne, are expecting a baby girl this summer!
Jen recently posted a graphic of a baby onesie with lettering that reads “I’m about to blow up your newsfeed” with the caption: “I’m getting a baby for my birthday. Thank you @people for helping us to announce this incredibly exciting news!”
Then, in a separate post, Jen showed her followers one of the photos from her People Magazine photo shoot. In the photo, Jen is holding baby balloons and gazing at John lovingly. The caption reads: “We’re thrilled to finally announce that we’re pregnant, and even more overjoyed to say it’s a baby girl!!!! Due on or around my birthday. Thank you @people for shining a light on #fostercare and #adoption as well. Love makes a family.”
Jen and Jason already have two boys, ages 11 months and 2 years. The couple fostered both boys and have formally adopted one of them. They’re now in the process of adopting the other boy and are awaiting their final court date.
In her interview with People magazine, Jen said, “I’m so relieved. I absolutely love being a mom of boys, but there’s a couple of reasons we wanted a girl – one [being], we don’t have one. More importantly, the reason we wanted the girl is now my sons won’t have a bio-son to compare themselves to and I think that’s really, really important.”
Jen’s Instagram followers are thrilled for her and have been responding in droves to her announcement. Most are offering their congratulations, and one fan wrote, “I teared up when I read your news! I’m SO HAPPY for you & your husband & your kids! Wow! This is just so great! I’m so proud for you! Congratulations!”
