Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will soon get a huge gift. As DOOL viewers know, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) has finally agreed to allow Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) heart to be given to Julie. It took quite a bit of convincing to get Gabi to agree to the transplant, and ultimately Lani Price (Sal Stowers) was forced to beg on her knees for Stefan’s heart. It was quite a scene, but soon the life-saving transplant will get underway and Julie and her family will get their miracle.
Of course, for Julie’s family, this is a huge moment that will hopefully bring them many more years with her. At first, they’ll just want to get the transplant going and their focus will be on Julie and her health going forward. But soon, it seems that their attention will turn to Gabi, and they’ll realize the enormity of what she did for them, especially given her terrible relationship with Julie in the past.
As DOOL viewers will remember, Julie never really got over the fact that Gabi killed Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) and the two women sparred for years after that. And recently, Julie tried to apologize to Gabi for her previous name-calling and the bad blood between them, but Gabi refused to accept her apology and accused her of faking her heart attack. Things got pretty ugly between them, but it seems that things may change for the better soon.
In fact, DOOL spoilers indicate that Julie will be stunned when she wakes up from the transplant surgery and learns not only that the got a heart, but that it came from Stefan and that Gabi actually agreed to the transplant. Julie will be grateful to Gabi, and this will be the start of a renewed relationship between the two. Their relationship may not be perfect going forward, but it looks like they’re going to make peace.
And it will be a good thing that Julie won’t be dealing with the stress of ongoing conflict with Gabi going forward, since there will be a complication with her health. DOOL viewers should expect some ongoing health concerns for Julie, as she and her family get word from Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) that Julie isn’t out of the woods with her new heart. She’ll be suffering from bradycardia, or an unusually slow heartbeat.
It looks like Julie will eventually be ok, but her ongoing condition will probably require some close monitoring for a while. And who knows – the new problem with her heart may actually bring Julie and Gabi closer together, since Gabi will probably be pretty invested in Stefan’s heart beating on and keeping Julie alive and well.
