Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will soon be taking a very big step. As DOOL viewers know, Kayla is now involved romantically with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). During the time jump year, Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) was killed in a tragic accident, leaving Justin a widower. And Kayla received divorce papers from Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), freeing her up for a relationship.
Now Justin and Kayla seem pretty happy together. Of course, they’ve encountered some resistance to their relationship here and there. Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) about lost it when she discovered that her friend Adrienne had died, and that Justin was now with Kayla. And it seems that it took some getting used to for Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) to see his dad with someone new so soon after his mother passed away.
But despite these challenges, it seems that Justin and Kayla are happy and content. In fact, according to Days of Our Lives spoilers, the two will take a big step in their relationship soon. They’ve mentioned moving in together on the show, and it seems that they’ll soon take that happy step. But Kayla won’t want to move into the Kiriakis mansion, as the place seems pretty crowded, so she’ll suggest that Justin move in with her.
So it seems that Justin will make Kayla’s place his permanent home. And under normal circumstances, we’d think that the pair would settle in together contently and have a good life together. But soon, their lives will become anything but normal, as Steve is back, but with all of Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) memories and personality.
Of course, the show hasn’t yet explained how Steve came to receive Stefano’s memories and officially became what people are calling “Stevano.” But this seems to have Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) written all over it. He put Princess Gina Von Amberg’s (Kristian Alfonso) memory and personality into Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), and now it looks like he’s done something similar with Stefano and Steve.
But why choose Steve’s body as a vessel for Stefano? And why would Rolf bring “Stevano” to Salem where he’ll at some point be recognized as Steve? Surely when Kayla and the rest of Steve’s family get wind that Steve’s body is now a vessel for Stefano, they’re going to be horrified. And Kayla will surely be Steve’s champion at that point, trying to help him come back from wherever he is while Stefano is in control of his body.
The revelation of “Stevano” will certainly have a big impact on Justin and Kayla’s relationship. After all, once Kayla realizes that Steve may not have wanted to divorce her, and this might have all been arranged by Rolf, she may quickly rethink her relationship with Justin. It will certainly throw a wrench into their happy plans, and they’ll have to figure out where to go from here.
