Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some good news will likely arrive for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). DOOL fans know Sarah and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) gave birth around the same time, but Kristen’s baby supposedly died soon after. That baby’s death works in Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton’s favor. There’s pretty much no way Days will kill off yet another kid.
After all, there’d be no story left if Mickey died. As it stands now, there’s a goldmine of baby swap drama just waiting to be exposed. Days of Our Lives isn’t going to leave that drama on the table. However, we have to take this storyline step by step. First thing’s first – Mickey’s treatment will probably be a success.
Eric and Sarah took Mickey to Boston, where’s she’s currently receiving her treatment offscreen. Fortunately, Mickey and her parents will rejoin the action in the new year. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Mickey’s recovery could be a game-changer. Will it lift Eric’s spirits enough to forgive Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker)? It’s possible, but Eric could come home to a different – yet familiar – obstacle.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will plant a kiss on Brady that Kristen witnesses. It’ll lead to some conflict between Kristen and Nicole during the week of December 30-January 3. Of course, it could also lead to conflict between Eric and Brady again if Eric finds out. It sounds like it’ll mostly be a one-sided impulsive thing on Nicole’s end, but it could still lead to issues.
It could also give Eric another hurdle to forgiveness. He’ll have a lot to sort out, but at least he can take comfort in knowing Mickey’s most likely going to be just fine. Sadly, Sarah and Eric’s joy over their little one should be short-lived. Again, it’s doubtful Days will pass up the chance to reveal a baby switch. It’s almost unheard of for two DOOL characters to be pregnant at the same time without a swap going down.
In other words, Eric and Sarah should face total elation followed by heartbreak. Mickey’s recovery is the best news they could possibly receive. The fact that Mickey probably isn’t their daughter is the crushing blow that should come later.
