Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, July 17, tease that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will embark on her quest to exonerate Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Quite despite herself, Gabi’s starting to develop feelings for Stefan, and she truly wants to help him out of the mess he’s in. As DOOL viewers know, Stefan has been falsely accused by Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) of holding them prisoner in the DiMera tunnels.
On Wednesday’s episode, Gabi will head to the hospital to confront Kate about her story. Gabi will want to know why Kate’s throwing Stefan under the bus, but don’t look for Kate to spill the real story – that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has threatened her into implicating Stefan for the crime. This should leave Gabi frustrated and more determined than ever to solve this mystery.
Later, DOOL spoilers indicate that Gabi will have a strange encounter with “Nicole,” whose actually Kristen. But since Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) ran off with Kristen’s Nicole mask, it seems that Gabi’s encounter with “Nicole” may have to be through her hotel room door! Gabi will probably want some answers from Nicole about what’s happened to Stefan, but it doesn’t look like she’ll get very far.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of DOOL on Wednesday, July 17, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) will make a big speech to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) all about the kind of person he used to be. It looks like she’ll be lobbying for Jack to take Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) serum and wanting him to get his memories back, and DOOL spoilers indicate that she’ll have some success on that front, as Jack will decide to take the serum. Now he’ll have to get his wife Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva) on board.
Of course, that could be a difficult sell, since Eve is vehemently opposed to Jack regaining his memories and even deliberately withheld the diary from him so he couldn’t even try to get his memories back. Speaking of Eve, she’ll offer Ted the DA position again. Salem’s been without a district attorney long enough, but will Ted even want the job at this point? He previously quit in protest over Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) firing, so it’s doubtful that he’ll take the offer.
Finally, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will continue in his quest to get Xander out of Titan Industries. Brady firmly believes that Xander has no place in the family business and wants to oust him any way that he can. The only problem is that Brady had a deal with Xander – he gave him the position at Titan in exchange for handing over evidence proving that Nicole killed Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry).
Brady will likely be worried that Xander may have another recording of Nicole’s confession stashed somewhere, so he’ll have to tread carefully in firing Xander. Of course, Brady doesn’t know that the person he thinks is Nicole is actually Kristen, so he’ll be worried over virtually nothing since the real Nicole’s whereabouts are still unknown.
