Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, May 29, tease that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will be on a mission. As Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) condition worsens, they’ll be frantic to find a cure. Locating Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) diary could be an excellent first step, but Marlena and John will hit a few snags in their search.
John will make a powerful plea to Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva) later this week, but Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) the one with the leverage. He got his hands on the diary before he left Salem, so he’s really the one John should be talking to. Nevertheless, John will do his best to save Will’s life and that should mean the world to fearful Marlena.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Eve will come clean to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). She’ll share a secret, so she may reveal that she hid the diary from him and it ended up with Xander. Eve may claim she didn’t want to lose the version of Jack she fell in love with it. The truth is she couldn’t risk Jack getting his memories back and destroying their plan.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jack will begin to lose faith in Eve and their bond, so this could be a nice start. Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) will definitely use Jack’s doubts to her advantage in the coming weeks. In the meantime, DOOL fans can expect growing suspicions for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). He’ll become more and more convinced of Claire Brady’s (Olivia Rose Keegan) guilt.
Ben will tell Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) about his theory that Claire started the cabin fire, but Ciara won’t buy that at all. She’ll contend that Claire may be impulsive and insecure, but she just won’t believe Claire would try to kill anyone – especially her. However, Days viewers know that’s exactly what happened, and Ben will work to find proof soon enough.
Across town, Claire will try to patch things up with Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). There’s a good chance Tripp will stand his ground and insist a reunion’s never going to happen. Elsewhere, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will turn to his old pal, Rory (Kevin Riggin), for assistance. That’ll bring some tense moments once Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) corners Rory to ask about JJ and Haley Chen (Thia Megia)
Fortunately, there’s no one better at playing dumb than Rory – maybe because he doesn’t truly have to play the part! It sounds like another great episode’s coming up.
