Tonight on Emergence Jo and family is spooked out by a man creeping around the house late at night, Piper is scared and frightened, the next morning Jo decides to install a security system in the house. Jo continues to investigate the crash and orders autopsy’s on the fake parents to find out their identity.
Piper is given a memory journal from Abby to help her remember after the crash. Piper has a scary flashback and she writes words in the journal but she quickly tears up the pages.
Jo follows lead off a radio frequency from the crash, she thinks the radio was in contact with people on the plane before it went down, a mysterious computer malfunction in the hospital leads to Piper’s medical records being wiped out from the night of the crash when she first was admitted into the hospital,
Jo doesn’t think it’s coincidental. Jo starts to think maybe it was a mistake bringing Piper to the house and that may be hindering her recalling events from the night of the crash, but Ed reassures her she’s doing the right thing since there are bad people clearly after Piper.
In Piper’s room one of the security remotes begins to glow, she walks over to it and it seems to magnetically fly into her hand, this scares her and she drops it and runs off.
The next morning Ed decides to make Pipers stay more comfortable and clean out a room for her, and paint the room her favorite color green. Jo proceeds to insist on the autopsy’s report but as they enter the room the bodies are damaged.
Back at the house a strange man appears and is searching the home for the metal card, he uses a device to detect it and it leads him into the bathroom where he goes to the bathroom sink and finds a small red glowing gem, in a nearby room as piper is hiding from him and sees him across the room,the more scared she gets the more the magnetic things in the house start to go off ,he finds piper hiding in a room and he shushes her but she seems to trigger the electricity in the house and causes sparks and Jo races back to the house and the man escapes out a window.
Alex decides to return back to the house since things are chaotic. Jo gets a hunch that this man is destroying all evidence connected to Piper and she goes to where this mysterious man is headed next and her and Chris end up in a garage with the car from the crash, inside the car are a bunch of floating metal objects in the air.
The mystery man arrives at the garage to retrieve the car but Jo and Chris end up in a struggle to attempt to stop him and they do. Back at the house Jo lets Piper know the mystery guy won’t be back, she talks to her about the strange things that have been happening, Piper tells her about the objects moving in the closet and she tells Jo she may be the one responsible for the plane crash, Jo reassures her that Piper’s secret is safe with her and that she’ll do the best to protect her.
Jo begins to prepare for more mystery people to come after Piper and they dump the car in the ocean.
