General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that more info’s coming out about Dr. Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) background. After Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) recent chat with Neil, she grew more curious about the doc and decide to do a little digging. A quick Internet search revealed something that left Alexis even more intrigued.
One of the pictures that popped up was of a dedication to Neil’s wife and daughter. There are some interesting possibilities to consider here. For starters, there’s a good chance Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) was Neil’s wife once upon a time. Neil knows too much about cults and exit therapy for him to not have a connection, so Harmony fits the bill.
What about Neil’s daughter? Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) refers to Harmony as her mother, but Neil had no reaction to Willow. It’s possible he hasn’t seen her since she was quite young and using the name Kali Miller, but another option seems more likely.
More Layers Of Neil Byrne To Come
We have to consider how Harmony got into Dawn of Day in the first place. If she was married to a pragmatic therapist, something major must’ve happened to shift her perspective. Did Neil and Harmony’s real daughter die? Did that send a spiraling Harmony to Dawn of Day and perhaps drive her to illegally adopt Nina Reeves’ (Michelle Stafford) baby?
General Hospital hasn’t been letting us see very many layers of Neil yet. However, he seems like a decent guy. Neil is quite caring when it comes to Alexis and her family. He doesn’t really seem like the type to illegally adopt a kid.
Neil might’ve been driven to do it if Harmony couldn’t have children and he was desperate enough, but it feels more like something a crazy cult member like Harmony would do.
Harmony Miller And Willow Tait Link?
Neil has mentioned an exit therapy that went badly before. Perhaps he tried to get Harmony to bail on DoD – maybe even under forced circumstances like with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth). Harmony may not have wanted to leave Dawn of Day behind because of Willow as well as her pledge – which could’ve involved the illegal adoption. She might’ve had an extreme reaction to Neil’s efforts.
Whatever the case, there’s got to be some sort of Harmony and Willow link here. It’s easy to see that GH plans to make Willow Nina’s biological daughter. General Hospital spoilers suggest Alexis’ clue is another puzzle piece that’ll help the big picture come together.
