General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, October 14 Review - Jason’s Close To Uncovering Peter’s Connection To Andre’s Stabbing

General Hospital (GH) spoilers review for Monday, October 14, reveal that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) met with a new associate, Roz Venta (Nawal Bengholam), who turned out to be a lawyer who Peter hired on the sly to represent Bryce Henderson (Brian Gross), the henchman who broke Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) out of custody. Roz burst into the interrogation room just as Bryce was about to be questioned by Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and FBI Agent Edward Caldwell (James G. MacDonald).

Later, Bryce told Jordan and Agent Caldwell that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) reached out to him to free Shiloh from custody so she could personally take him out. Bryce said that Sam had a score to settle, which is why she wanted to take Shiloh out herself. Jordan thought there were tons of holes in this story, but Agent Caldwell immediately wanted to place Sam under arrest, which Jordan had no choice but to go along with.

Sam and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) then arrived at the station, and while an officer was walking Bryce out of the interrogation room, Jason got a good look at him, then took off to go track down Andre Maddox (Anthony Washington). Meanwhile, Agent Caldwell told Sam that she was under arrest and that he was going to recommend that the judge deny bail and remand her to Pentonville. Both Sam and Jordan were horrified.

Jason then met with Andre, who took a look at a photo on Jason’s phone of Bryce. Andre wasn’t sure if he looked familiar, but when Jason altered the photo by adding a beard, Andre immediately recognized him as the man who had stabbed him several weeks ago. That didn’t seem to surprise Jason, and he’s now getting closer to the truth about Peter and how he’s connected to Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) disappearance and supposed death.

A bit earlier, Andre had met Peter, which is an interesting tidbit that Jason doesn’t yet know about. Peter requested a meeting with Andre under the guise that Andre is close with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Peter wondered if Andre had heard from Anna or knew where she was, then eased into the real reason for wanting to talk with Andre, which was to fish for information about the memory reversal procedure that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) wants Andre to perform on Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).

Peter wasn’t happy to hear that one possible outcome of the memory reversal procedure was that that Drew’s memories could be intensified, or that both Franco and Drew’s memories could exist simultaneously. Of course, this could mean that Franco/Drew is now in danger, or that he will be in danger if Elizabeth wins the legal battle and is allowed to have the memory reversal procedure performed on him.

Speaking of Elizabeth, she had a nasty run-in with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) at GH, during which she learned that Kim was bankrolling Franco’s new lawyer, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight). The two women bickered about who Franco really is at this point, and by the end of the episode, each woman learned that the court date has been set for next week.

Meanwhile, Franco got a visit at Shadybrook from Julian Jerome (William deVry), who wanted to put Franco on notice about Kim’s current state of mind. Julian noted that Kim is still in deep grief over losing Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) and that Franco is exploiting that for his own gain. He told Franco that his love story with Kim is pure fantasy, and that he’s enabling her.

Ultimately, Franco didn’t seem to get what Julian was trying to say, but one wonders whether he’ll eventually see the connection between Kim’s grief and her attachment to him as the trial gets underway and Kim is forced to testify. The cross-examination of Kim by Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) should get pretty heated, as Scott will likely explore Kim’s underlying motivation for her actions with respect to Franco.
