General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease in a new weekly video preview that a previously well-contained secret is going to slip out this week, October 2-4. As GH viewers know, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) recently learned that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) isn’t really Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter. He was certainly shocked, but he and Sasha got through it and together they decided that eventually Sasha would come clean, but that they needed to wait to reveal the truth until after Cassandra Pierce’s (Jessica Tuck) trial.
And that means that Nina is planning to go through with her wedding to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), not realizing that he orchestrated a fake daughter to come to town and infiltrate her life. This week, wedding plans will barrel ahead for Nina and Valentin, and they’ll happily head toward the aisle. But suddenly an unexpected twist will occur that threatens to blow the secret wide open and halt the wedding.
In the new GH preview promo video, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is shown finding out the truth about Sasha’s identity. It looks like she’ll be in a stall in the restroom at The Floating Rib when Sasha and Liesel Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) enter the facility and start talking. Thinking they’re all alone, Liesel will start harping on Sasha about her secret and about how Nina can never find out that she’s a fraud.
Specifically, Liesl is shown telling an upset-looking Sasha that “Nina must never find out that you are not really her daughter, you’re an imposter.” That leaves Lulu looking horrified and now knowing something explosive that could threaten Nina’s happiness. Of course, whether Lulu will end up spilling the beans and bringing the wedding to a screeching halt remains to be seen.
Next, on the new GH spoilers promo, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are shown in the few moments they had with their daughter Donna Corinthos (Ella and Emma Hulen) before she was whisked off to surgery on her spine. As GH viewers know, Donna has Spina Bifida, and from the looks of it the condition is relatively mild, although it is still serious.
It looks like viewers will be in for some dramatic scenes as Sonny, Carly, and the rest of their family await the outcome of Donna’s surgery. Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are shown peering into Donna’s room, where she’s in what looks to be an incubator. Fortunately, it looks like Donna is going have relatively mild complications from her condition, but things will still be touch-and-go for a while as the doctors get a complete picture of the severity of her condition.
