General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the drama involving Wiley Cooper-Jones (Theo and Erik Olson) may be heating up soon. Now that it’s looking like Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) may be getting out of prison on parole, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is pretty worried about how things will ultimately play out with his son.
As GH viewers know, Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) has no idea that the real Wiley died of SiDS shortly after he came home from the hospital, and that the baby that’s currently in his home is actually Jonah Corinthos, Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) son with Nelle. And now Nelle is asking that Brad help her get out on parole. It’s a real mess.
But while things on canvas might be in turmoil for Brad – after all, he could very well lose the little boy that he loves and cherishes as well as his marriage to Lucas – things behind the scenes with Parry Shen, who portrays Brad, look pretty fun. As you might know, Parry is very active on social media and he frequently interacts with fans on Twitter and posts updates about life at the show.
Well, recently, Parry posed an adorable video montage on Twitter of himself and one of the Olson twins, who portray Wiley on the show. In the outtake videos, Parry is playing with the little boy before a scene, taking a big crayon and making a mustache out of it to entertain him. It’s absolutely adorable.
Parry captioned the montage as follows: “Professional Actor Tip when working with kids: Crayon Mustache – it never fails. #GH @Theo_Erik_Olson.” We should note that the trick absolutely seemed to work – in the videos, the move produces lots of interest and a big smile from Theo/Erik.
Parry’s tweet has captured the interest of many of his fans. He even replied to several of his followers’ responses to the video. In fact, in a response to a fan, Parry elaborated on the crayon scenario. He said, “first production gave him chicken nuggets and he had no interest, so last ditch attempt before Chillow walked in was to use the crayons!”
Parry’s tweet also garnered a cute interaction between some of his castmates. James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine) replied to the tweet, saying of the crayon trick: “I do this when I’m working with @duelly87.” He was referring, of course, to Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos). Chad then replied, “He does…really helps.”
