General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will feel like the walls are closing in. He’ll be unsettled when he realizes “Drew Cain” aka Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) has decided to move forward with the memory reversal procedure after all. We can’t forget that “Drew’s” memories could intensify as a result of this procedure. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) warned that was one of the possible outcomes, so that’ll definitely leave Peter on edge in the coming episodes.
Despite his best efforts to stop this procedure, things will press on like “Drew” plans. During the week of December 2-6, Peter will find himself in panic mode. He’ll fear “Drew” will wake up with new memories that could give away his Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) connection.
There’s certainly a lot at stake for Peter. He could lose Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) if she learns he downplayed his involvement in the memory-mapping project – especially if Maxie becomes privy to everything he’s done to cover for himself.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been focused on Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) for a while now, but he may shift his focus back to Peter since Sam’s been sentenced. It could serve as a useful distraction for Jason – one that might help with Sam’s appeal. It couldn’t hurt to prove that Peter wanted to frame Sam for helping Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) escape. Anything that sparks some sympathy could be helpful.
GH fans can expect Peter to pile on more lies and crimes over the next couple weeks. He’ll leave Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) wondering why he’s behaving so strangely. On December 6, the action will really come to a head.
It looks like “Drew’s” memory reversal procedure will be completed, so that’ll rev up the pressure for Peter. Meanwhile, Maxie will take a moment to catch up with her bestie. She might sing Peter’s praises to Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) while he’s busy preparing for the worst.
General Hospital spoilers say Peter will gather up his belongings that same day. That doesn’t sound like a man who plans on sticking around. Peter may feel backed into a corner and decide his freedom is what matters most. He may feel like he stands to lose Maxie anyway, so he might as well get while the getting’s good!
Later, Peter will end up lying to Anna’s face. Will she catch him in the process of trying to skip town? That’s one possibility to consider. Of course, it wouldn’t be very dramatic if Peter just slipped out of Port Charles without any kind of consequences. He needs to be faced with proof of his guilt or at least be accused in person.
Will Jason stop Peter from leaving – perhaps with an assist from Anna? Will Maxie get updates and push Peter to come clean about what he’s hiding?
