General Hospital Spoilers: Shiloh Spells Big Trouble for Sam and Jason - JaSam Can’t Escape Sinister Ghost

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will start their 2020 on a high note. GH fans know Sam and her family got the Christmas miracle they were hoping for. Sam was able to come home for the holidays, so she shared some touching moments with Jason, Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) and Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri).

Jason and Sam will want to keep this momentum going as they head into the new year. General Hospital spoilers say they’ll count on their worst days being behind them, but soap fans know that’s never the case! There are always worse days or at least just as bad days still to come.

Unfortunately, there’ll be more obstacles looming for Jason and Sam as 2020 gets underway. This high note they start out on won’t last long. In a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest, General Hospital Co-Head Writer Chris Van Etten offered a tease about what’s to come for “JaSam.” He admitted that although things will seem like they’re moving in the right direction at first, a familiar threat will linger.

Van Etten insisted that “the spectre of Shiloh will continue to loom large as his reach extends beyond the grave.” Of course, most “JaSam” fans and GH viewers in general can agree that it’s time to put Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) in the rearview mirror. Most of us were hoping that once Sam was released from prison, that would finally be the end of her Shiloh suffering.

Alas, this new info points to another round of Shiloh drama in 2020. How exactly will Shiloh hurt Jason and Sam from beyond the grave? Will it be through Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), who’s apparently Shiloh’s widow? Nelle has big plans for when she finally gets out of Pentonville – and many of them could be vengeful. Sam might regret getting on Nelle’s bad side just before she scored parole.

However, there are other ways for the ghost of Shiloh to haunt Jason and Sam. After all, there are still plenty of Dawnies out there who would happily carry out any remaining orders. Who knows what instructions Shiloh left behind? He was always a step ahead, so he may have a few more unpleasant surprises in store for “JaSam.”

Whatever the case, Jason and Sam will hopefully stick together through this nightmare. If there’s one thing they’re good at it, it’s tackling a crisis as a team! We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in. Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
