General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 17, tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will get a big surprise. They’ll learn from Cameron Webber (William Lipton) about what Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) bequeathed him…a car! Of course, this absolutely thrills Cameron, but for Liz and Franco, the thought of Cameron having his own car will probably instill fear. Will they let him keep it?
Meanwhile, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) will get some good news from Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). They’ve been optimistic since Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) was arrested, and it looks like they might get the news that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has just been released from jail and there’s no longer a need for her to protect the baby that everyone believes is Wiley Cooper-Jones.
Speaking of Willow, she’ll tell someone that she’s terrified that all of her efforts to protect Wiley was for nothing. She’s worried that Shiloh will somehow wiggle his way out of the charges against him, even though he’s up against some serious allegations this time. She’ll of course be relieved that Shiloh never got the results of the DNA test he ran on Wiley, but little does she know that those results – once they see the light of day – will prove that Brad and Lucas’ baby isn’t her biological child at all.
Next, on the new episode of General Hospital on Wednesday, July 17, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will have a lot to say from her hospital bed. She’ll have an interaction with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that won’t go particularly well. Perhaps Nina will press Liesl for details on why someone would want to push her off of The Haunted Star.
At any rate, Liesl will get a bit feisty with Nina and threaten to “blow Nina’s house down.” Of course, GH viewers know that Liesl has some serious intel that could indeed rock Nina’s world…she knows that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) are running a big scam on Nina and that Sasha isn’t really Nina’s daughter. But Nina’s currently in the dark, so she likely won’t know what to make of Liesl’s threat.
Meanwhile, in the Corinthos kitchen, it seems that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) will get into another tiff about something. These two seem to be intrigued by each other deep down, but on the surface they don’t get along so well. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is shown in Wednesday’s GH preview walking in on them in a tense moment and asking if there’s a problem. We’ll see just what the issue is.
Finally, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be furious with Ava Jerome (Maura West). Ava will be fresh from her channeling session with Sibley Gamble (Veronica Cartwright) during which Ava “spoke” to Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). As GH viewers know, “Kiki” asked Ava to pass a message on to her sister Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). It seems that Ava may do just that, which may irritate Sonny. He’ll threaten her with adverse action if she ever does it again.
