General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 24, tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will feel like it’s one step forward and two steps back with his brother. He wants a real relationship with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), but Finn seems reluctant to open up. Nevertheless, Chase will guilt-trip his big bro into confiding a bit, so they may discuss some old Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) drama.
Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will get a surprising invitation. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will want to take Nina and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) out to dinner, but Nina may not think that’s a good idea. She’ll likely worry Valentin and Jax won’t be able to get along, but Jax may assure Nina he can play nice – at least for one night.
Of course, that’s a vow that would probably be broken. It’s doubtful Jax and Valentin could be completely civil for an entire evening, but Nina may agree to rope Valentin into it. Over with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll look distraught when Cameron Webber (William Lipton) reveals he cut the locks off the footbridge. Cam will be apologetic, but he may struggle to calm Joss’ pain and anger.
Josslyn and Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s (Garren Stitt) lock was hanging there as a symbol of their lasting love, so Joss won’t appreciate Cam’s move. He cut it off as part of his community service, but he’ll still feel bad about adding to Josslyn’s suffering. Since Josslyn may shut Cameron out, let’s hope Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) can step up to comfort her again.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a discussion with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). They’ll have a lot to talk about, including Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) recent actions and how they’ll affect Lulu Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) family. Sonny and Robert will also discuss Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) making bail. Robert will promise justice will be served and hope that convinces Sonny not to take matters into his own hands.
Elsewhere, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will trust that “Wiley Cooper-Jones” is going to be protected. She’ll talk to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about giving her baby up so he could have a better life, but she’ll insist Michael’s loss is far worse. Willow always felt somewhat guilty about attending those bereavement group meetings; little does she know she was right where she belonged.
Michael’s the one who has a healthy son being raised by Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). The real Wiley passed away shortly after he came home, so GH spoilers say Willow will face a tough blow sooner or later.
As for Michael, he’ll get some support from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on Wednesday. Jason is always willing to listen and provide some guidance – and he’ll do just that for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), too.
When Jason senses Carly is holding back about her baby, he’ll encourage her to let her walls down. Carly will likely admit her concerns about spina bifida and the severity of it for her child. The doctor will know more after the next visit, so Carly will be dreading that appointment.
