General Hospital Spoilers: Wiley is Jonah Reveal Needs To Happen Now - GH Fans Frustrated With Baby Swap Drama?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that there may be no end in sight to the ongoing baby swap drama that viewers have endured for over a year now. As GH viewers know, the child known as Wiley Cooper-Jones (Theo and Erik Olson) is really Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) son, Jonah Corinthos. At this point, just a few key people on canvas know this fact, and viewers are starting to wonder whether there’s an end in sight for this storyline.

At some point there will need to be a resolution, since Wiley can’t stay with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) forever, but how’s it going to happen? There’s now a sizeable list of people who know about Wiley being Jonah, yet still the truth has been kept from the two people who need to know the most – Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). They will both reel from the news for very different reasons. We see several possible senarios for how the reveal could occur, which we consider in turn below.

One possibility is that there’s some sort of medical/health crisis with Wiley that necessitates some blood work or a DNA workup. That would be a sure-fire way for TPTB to get the big Wiley reveal moving along. If Wiley were to have a health crisis, then that could put Brad in a position where he has to tell the truth when the blood-work or DNA workup comes back showing that Wiley and Willow aren’t compatible.

Brad Cooper Able To Falsify Many Hospital Records With Ease

However, this might be the least likely possibility for the big reveal, given that Brad seems to be able to falsify hospital workups with ease. After all, he was able to totally re-do the DNA workups on Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) back when Sasha was sick with the bird flu. Plus, Brad really seems invested in hiding the truth about Wiley, so the reveal likely won’t come from him unless he is totally backed into a corner and has no choice but to admit the truth.

Of course, another possible avenue for the truth coming out about Wiley is that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) could spill the beans. Under normal circumstances, she probably wouldn’t do so, since she seems to enjoy having Brad under her thumb. Brad’s come in useful for Liesl at the hospital, and she probably won’t want to give him up as a resource.

But Liesl’s still a risk, given that she tends to say too much when she’s had a drink or two. It’s always possible that she could imbibe and then say the wrong thing to the wrong person. Deep down, she seems to feel bad for Michael, since he doesn’t know his son is alive, and those feelings seem to come to the surface when she’s been drinking.

Another Possiblity Is Nelle Benson May Kidnap Wiley Herself

A final possibility here is that Nelle reveals the truth about Wiley herself. As GH viewers know, she’s currenty working hard with an attorney to get out of jail at her next parole hearing. It will probably be tough for Nelle to go free at this point, given all of the things that she’s done, but stranger things have certainly happened. One thing’s for sure – if Nelle does get out on parole, then nothing is going to keep her from her son. She’ll probably force Brad to let her spend time with the little boy, much to his chagrin.

And even if Nelle doesn’t get out of prison, there’s still the very real possibility that she’ll escape. Ongoing General Hospital spoilers indicate that Nelle and Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) could ultimately escape from Pentonville together, and if that’s the case, she’ll surely make a beeline for her son. And once Nelle gets hold of Wiley, it surely wont be long before she lets Michael and the world know that he’s really her son Jonah.

One thing’s for sure – a resolution to this storyline needs to happen soon. GH viewers really want to see Michael stop grieving Jonah and realize that his son is very much alive. Of course, the reveal won’t be good news for Willow, who will be faced with the realization that her baby is gone forever. And viewers would really like to see Brad gets his comeuppance – he’s due for some heartache and serious consequences when the truth comes out. Let’s hope that we see a resolution soon!
