General Hospital Star William DeVry Gets A New Job On Primetime

General Hospital spoilers announce that GH’s William DeVry, who portrays reformed mobster, Julian Jerome has scored a role in prime time. William isn’t leaving GH – he’s playing Ross Kuyper on the first episode of season two of The Terror.

The Terror is a horror drama that airs on AMC and based on the 2007 novel by the same name written by Dan Simmons. Season two The Terror Infamy is set on the West Coast during World War Two. The show deals with issues at internent camps in Southern California and concentrates on the Japanese-American community. William has had a lot of success playing villains on various shows, and this one shouldn’t be any different.

William DeVry, like many other daytime actors, loves to spread their wings and reach into primetime shows and movies as well. William’s previous projects include Earth Final Conflict, Beggars and Choosers, Stargate SG-1 and All My Children. DeVry has had previous roles in NICS and Cedar Cove while playing Julian on GH.

William was nominated for his All My Children Role in 2003 as Best Supporting Actor and won the best villain in 2003 and 2004 at the ABC fan club luncheon. DeVry has been a soap opera fan favorite for years. No one is looking for William to give up GH for primetime; he seems to be content in his role as Julian.

As fans know, Julian wants to move on with his life and have contact with his three kids after being alienated by them because of his mob activities. Julian has his girlfriend, Kim Nero (Tamara Braun), who has just lost her son Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) and has just consented to investigate Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) has warned Julian that his grandson needs to be kept away from Shiloh.

William may be doing guest roles here and there, but no one is expecting Julian to disappear any time soon. Julian has a lot of loose ends in Port Charles including trying to protect his sister Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Are you excited to see William in this new role? Would you like to see him do more guest appearances elsewhere? In the meantime, keep watching General Hospital and checking back with us for more updates and news.
