Each diner will cast their vote for the dish that they prefer. The losing team will face a pressure test. They have sixty minutes.

Ivy chooses the lamb. Rhashad chooses salmon.

On the blue team, Reid burns his hand with hot oil; he should be out of the challenge. But, Reid wants to stay and help motivate his team any way he can.

The red team has prepared Seared Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini. The blue team has prepared Rack of Lamb with Mushroom Risotto and Asparagus.

Both teams did a remarkable job, but there can only be one winning team. The blue team got 10 votes, the red team six.

The blue team heads to the balcony. The red team have to do the dreadful pressure test, they are; Rhashad, Matthew, Aaron, Jaala, and Ben. The home cooks have to make pan seared scallops. Gordon gives the cooks a quick lesson on how to prepare the dish.

They have sixty minutes to replicate Gordon’s dish.

Matthew: Gordon says the dish beautiful, he loves the seasoning. Christina loves the flavor, she says it is spot on and the seasoning is on point.

Rhashad: Gordon notices the scallops are cooked on one side more than the other, the seasoning is on point. Aaron says the scallops that were cut properly were cooked properly, he just needs a little more finesse.

Ben: Gordon asks him why he seasoned the scallops 30 minutes before cooking them. Ben realizes he should only have done it a few minutes before cooking. Gordon loves the color, but the scallops are overcooked. Christina agrees that the scallops are overcooked.

Jaala: Gordon says her presentation is beautiful, he says it is absolutely amazing, well done. Aaron says so far, she is the one whose dish most replicated Gordon’s dish.

Aaron: Gordon notices that the visual is not very good, the scallops are cooked beautifully, the whole dish needed more finesse.

Time for results. The judges were blown away with Jaala’s dish, she is safe and heads up to the balcony. The next home cook that is safe is Matthew.

There are three remaining. The final person safe and heading into the top eight is Aaron.

Ben and Rhashad are both heading home and leaving the competition.

THE END!
