The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) is speaking out on her character’s romantic future. B&B fans know Sally and Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) engagement is going through a bit of a rough patch. Wyatt already felt like things were off between them, and Sally mistakenly calling Wyatt by his brother’s name only made things worse.
Sally’s bond with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is a thing of the past, but what does her future hold with Wyatt? Do they truly have a shot at happiness? In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Hope dished on “Wally” and what’s next. She had plenty to say about how Sally’s feeling and how “Flo” Fulton (Katrina Bowden) factors in.
When asked if Sally blames Flo for causing a rift in her romance, Hope admitted that Flo was still on Sally’s mind. “Sally is not really quite sure where Wyatt’s at [with Flo], and that’s a difficult thing,” The Bold and the Beautiful star said. Hope added that it ties in with the old saying, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”
Sally loves Wyatt, but she’s definitely going into this with her guard up. Even so, she’ll likely kick herself for trusting Wyatt if he drifts toward Flo. Hope also talked about the pain Sally felt when Wyatt dumped her so quickly over a mistake. It was a blow that cut deep, so Sally’s had a hard time putting her heart back out there. She saw Wyatt as someone who could do no wrong, but her perception of him shifted.
“I think she had a wakeup call in that sense, too, so because of that, she’s being very cautious,” Hope said. Will Sally hold back too much and push Wyatt away? Time will tell, but Hope certainly thinks “they have some issues to work out.” Unfortunately, Sally and Wyatt may not be able to work through them if Wyatt’s lingering feelings for Flo prove too strong.
