The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will soon find himself completely outraged. As B&B viewers know, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) recently embarked on a sneaky plan. She set out on a mission to get Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to allow her to adopt Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). But in order to get what she wanted, Thomas wanted something in return.
And of course, what he wanted was Hope. Thomas ended up making Hope an indecent proposal when he stated that he’d sign the paperwork and allow Hope to adopt Douglas in return for sleeping with him. That never happened, and Thomas ended up signing the paperwork on a sort-of promise from Hope that they might be able to be a family with Douglas someday.
Well, after that all went down, Thomas’ accident happened, and he fell into the vat of what Hope believed was acid. Now Hope and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) believe that Thomas is dead, and it looks like they’ll be engaged in a short-lived coverup of the accident and the “death.” But soon, Thomas will be back, and Hope will have to come clean about what happened.
And that means that what she did to manipulate Thomas, and what he tried to do to manipulate her with the indecent proposal, are going to come to light. Hope’s going to have to fess up to the whole thing soon, and of course everyone’s reactions to the situation between Thomas and Hope will depend on their pre-existing biases.
In other words, Ridge and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will probably be outraged at Hope for her manipulation but relatively forgiving of Thomas for his attempt to manipulate Hope. Even though they won’t like the idea of his indecent proposal, they’ll probably point out that at no point did Thomas threaten Hope or try to physically force her into anything.
And we know that Brooke is completely outraged at Thomas for his indecent proposal, calling him “sick” and essentially mentally ill. And Liam, who already doesn’t like Thomas, is going to be horrified to hear what he wanted to use as a bargaining chip with Hope. Liam will probably hit the roof as he realizes the kind of danger that Hope was in while she was alone with Thomas.
In fact, this whole situation will probably open up another big round of conflict between Liam and Thomas. Liam has been pretty forceful with Thomas in the past, so we might see him come down hard on Thomas once again. After all, Thomas was making the moves on his girlfriend and the mother of his child, and Liam certainly won’t appreciate that.
And that conflict is going to be something that they’ll have to work through, for Douglas’ sake. As Liam has noted in the past, they won’t be able to just walk away from Thomas now that Douglas is in the picture and Hope is his mother. They’re going to have to at least try to work through their issues, which could be tough after what Thomas tried to do.
