The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will remain focused on Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) for now. He’s got a serious obsession, but is there anything that can finally snap him out of it? Could Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) be a way forward for Thomas?
Zoe will be serving as a double agent for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), but her crush on Thomas will ultimately rev up. She’ll make a mess of the plan thanks to her own messy feelings. Zoe can’t help but be drawn in by the handsome and charming fashion designer. Thomas knows how to say all the right things to get what he wants.
What Thomas wants is Hope, so seducing Zoe his latest route to his desired Logan. However, there may come a time with Thomas just has to throw in the towel. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Matthew Atkinson discussed Thomas’ fixation on Hope and what’s driving it. The B&B star insisted Thomas is “still determined to find a mother for his son and when it comes to that, all he can see is Hope.”
Of course, Bold and the Beautiful fans know Hope is already legally Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) mother. She could co-parent with Thomas, but that’s just not good enough for him. Thomas wants to be a family and nothing else will do at the moment. Nevertheless, Thomas could eventually break free of this Hope obsession. Atkinson suggested it might be best for Thomas to let go of his dream.
“He has been making bad decisions but I think deep down, he just wants what’s best for his son,” Atkinson said. “He thinks that is Hope, and that’s why he’s so focused on her, but maybe it’s time for him to move on.”
Is that a hint that Thomas will drift toward Zoe for real or just wishful thinking? Time will tell, but it’s clear that Thomas can’t keep scheming for Hope’s heart forever. At some point, Thomas will either have to give up or actually win Hope over. Would you like to see Thomas with another woman – who could that be?
