The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, December 23, teases that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will pat himself on the back. He’ll think everything’s lining up perfectly in his quest for Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) heart. Thomas knows he has to handle each step of his plot carefully, but he’s managed to pull off most of what he wants so far.
By pretending he’s moved on and wants a future with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), Thomas got Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) attention. She’s mainly just puzzled and skeptical, but Thomas probably thinks jealousy is just around the corner. He made sure Hope witnessed his kiss with Zoe and will continue to flaunt his new romance in the coming weeks.
Of course, Hope also called Thomas and surrendered on the idea of working together. That’s a crucial part of Thomas’ plan because he needs some quality “Thope” time. Thomas is convinced that Hope will eventually put Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) in the rearview mirror and focus on him instead.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will make a prediction on Monday. He’ll declare that Hope will be his soon, so it sounds like he expects this scheme to work quickly. However, Thomas doesn’t realize a different scheme’s cooking up behind his back. Zoe is a double agent who’s working for Liam and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), so this is bound to turn into a big ol’ mess!
Over with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), she’ll once again hear Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) desperate plea. Although Ridge is interested in Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), he’s still very much in love with Brooke. She’s his Logan! Ridge will think Brooke needs to give this whole “Thomas is dangerous” thing a rest and get their marriage back on track.
With that in mind, Ridge will bring up the topic of forgiveness again. Now that Thomas claims to be moving on with Zoe, Ridge won’t see why Brooke has to be so stubborn. He’ll push Brooke to forgive Thomas and let the past go. Ridge will assure Brooke they can get back to where they were as a couple if she’ll just do this one thing.
However, Brooke can’t do what Ridge asks as long as she believes Hope’s at risk. She won’t be willing to sacrifice her daughter for Ridge’s son. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge and Brooke’s argument won’t get them anywhere. Their bond will remain severed, but Ridge won’t give up. B&B fans can expect another attempt to make peace with Brooke after Thomas goes deeper with Zoe.
