The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will spend some time with his son next week. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has been back in town for a while now, but he’s been busy mourning the loss of Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) and trying to help Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) stay strong.
Of course, Thomas has also been bonding with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) lately. He’s been noticing how great she is with Douglas and appreciating the kindness she shares. All of that hasn’t left much time for dear old dad, but Thomas will carve out some for a heart-to-heart with Ridge soon enough. He’ll open up about how he’s really doing and get some words of wisdom in return.
B&B fans can also expect some surprises during this chat. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will be taken aback when Thomas makes a major admission. It shouldn’t come as a huge shock to viewers, but Ridge will be stunned when Thomas reveals he has feelings for Hope. Thomas will undoubtedly suggest that he has no plans to act on them, but the fact that he has them at all matters.
That’s because Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) are struggling in their marriage. Things aren’t dire yet, but they could be eventually. Liam will take steps to put the love and life back in his marriage during the week of April 15-19. Hope will do her best to be the wife Liam needs her to be, but she’ll have trouble even knowing what that looks like now. Beth Spencer’s “death” has really shattered her.
Thomas could get his window of opportunity sooner or later. Once Ridge realizes Thomas cares for Hope in more than a friendly way, he’ll be concerned at first. However, he could see truly Dr. Taylor Hayes’ (Hunter Tylo) perspective after he mulls it over. Ridge may give this some thought and decide there’s a chance for all parties involved to be happy.
If Hope ends up blissful with Thomas and Liam reconnects with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), that’d be a huge win for Ridge and Taylor. Both their kids would be content and in love. This could take some time, but Thomas’ growing feelings for Hope are a nice start.
