The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, December 31 Recap - Thomas Invites Zoe to Forrester Christmas Dinner, Makes Sure Hope Attends

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 31, reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Eric Forrester (John McCook), Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer), and Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) gathered in the Forrester living room to decorate the place for Christmas. Ridge was feeling melancholy, and they discussed the festive decorations, which Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) was partially responsible for.

Eric asked Quinn if Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) would be joining them for Christmas dinner tomorrow, but Quinn said that Shauna would be spending the day with Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden). That led into a discussion of whether Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) would attend, and Ridge said that she didn’t want to be there with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

Meanwhile, upstairs in Thomas’ bedroom, he woke up next to a sleeping Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). He imagined for a moment that Zoe was Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), then sat straight up in bed, disturbed. Zoe then woke up and said that she had a great time last night, and Thomas soon got a text from Hope saying she and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) were headed over to the mansion soon.

At the cabin, Hope, Douglas, and Brooke talked about it being Beth Spencer’s (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) first Christmas. Douglas was excited about Santa’s visit, and Hope and Brooke talked a bit about how happy Douglas was there. Brooke wished Douglas could stay with Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) permanently. Together, they wondered how things went last night with Thomas and Zoe.

Back at the Forrester mansion, Zoe and Thomas came downstairs together and awkwardness ensued as Quinn, Eric, and Ridge noticed that the two spent the night together. Thomas then invited Zoe to the Forrester Christmas dinner, and Eric nudged a reluctant Quinn, who then extended her invitation for Zoe to attend. Zoe graciously accepted, and Ridge seemed very keen on Thomas and Zoe’s new relationship.

Once alone, Zoe thanked Thomas for inviting her and making her feel welcome. Thomas told Zoe that she was important to him and that he was “all in.” Spying Hope and Douglas coming in the front door, Thomas quickly pulled Zoe in for a romantic kiss. Zoe then headed out, and Thomas and Hope had a few uncomfortable moments together.

Thomas hoped that it wasn’t too awkward for Hope to see him and Zoe together, and he made sure to let Hope know that Zoe spent the night, and that she was coming to the Forrester Christmas dinner. Hope revealed that she and Liam would likely stop by at some point on Christmas, since it was important for the children to be together. That made Thomas happy, and after Hope left, he told himself that it was going to be a good Christmas after all.

At her home, Brooke was down in the dumps over being without Ridge on Christmas, and Ridge was at his office in the same state of mind. He called Brooke and invited her to stop by the Forrester mansion for Christmas tomorrow, but Brooke said that she didn’t want to do so because Thomas would be there.

Brooke said that she wished things were different, and they declared their love for each other. Ridge asked Brooke to find a way to stop by tomorrow, because it just wouldn’t be Christmas without her. Brooke hung up without saying anything, and they each looked sadly at pictures of them together, clearly unhappy with the state of their marriage.
