Cassie’s latest vision involved fire. She saw her bobble-head melt in front of like it was melted, but then this vision was followed by a second one and that time she saw herself burn up in her car. Cassie called her father once she calmed down and he was able to correlate her vision with his case. Tom and Damien were investigating a car fire. The car were typically handled by fire investigators. This time it was the fire investigators that said the fire wasn’t accidental and they believed the victim had been targeted. The victim’s name was Neil Stern. He was going through a contentious divorce with his wife Lidia and they were fighting over the house. Neil seemed like he wasn’t ready to back down when death ultimately forced him to.

Therefore, it was up to the detectives to determine if Lidia Stern burnt her husband alive over a house. They found out from the fire investigators that the car itself had been rigged. The detectives questioned if Lidia would be capable of it and she didn’t seem the type. She was however rich enough to hire someone. The detectives found her too credible of a suspect to ignore and so they tracked down Lidia. Lidia seemed to be in mourning. She did tell them that Neil’s death was shocking and she was also quick to explain herself. She said that Neil had changed the locks on her. She claimed to have no way of interfering with her car and the detectives later found out that was a lie because she found a way to circumvent the locks.

They also learned that Lidia had a new boyfriend. She bought him an expensive watch long after she filed for divorce and so the detectives suspected she might have gotten her new boyfriend to help hill her husband. The detectives tried speaking to Lidia again, but the arsonist got to her first and so she had also been burned alive in her car. The husband’s death was explainable and the detectives were at a lost with Lidia’s death. They didn’t know why anyone would want to kill her. They looked into possible enemies and the only one they ran across was Gio Salonga. He was also the one that found Neil’s body. It turns out he had been fired from a job at their house and it left him short ten thousand dollars.

If the ten thousand dollars was what got him angry then there was a chance he killed Lidia as well. The detectives investigated any possible link and they soon found evidence that Gio was the mystery boyfriend. He couldn’t risk getting involved in a murder investigation because he was also going through a nasty situation. Gio was fighting his ex for custody and that’s why he didn’t say anything at the scene. He apologized for that because he truly didn’t mean to mislead the cops. He also didn’t hide the fact that he was in a relationship with Lidia and he said she gave him the watch to sell because she knew he needed money. He wasn’t quite over the setback from the Stern job. He was still in debt and so the detectives believe that it still gave him a motive.

They decided to watch Gio. They thought that he would make a mistake with something or someone and they didn’t account for being a possible target. The arsonist had attacked Gio next. His office had been rigged to blow the moment he came in and so there was nothing the detectives could do about it. All they could do was try. They grabbed Gio and doused him. The police also turned to Gio’s ex-wife because she was the only person left that could have targeted two of the victims. They went to Vera Salonga’s home and they tried to talk to her, but her son Gabe almost burnt them up. Gabe thought he was protecting his mother and it seems that wasn’t the only time he turned to violence. Gabe was just a kid and yet he was their arsonist.

The police brought Gabe in. He came with his lawyer rather than his mother and he was questioned about the murders. Gabe was still young and therefore impressionable. He confessed to the murders. Gabe said that his mother has been upset for a long time and that she usually leans on him. The woman has been telling how hurt she is and how people should pay. And sometimes she lets it go, but it was different recently and she gets going on and on about Lidia. She blamed Lidia for Gio not wanting to come home and so she got her son to help commit the murders. Vera helped over the wall of the house and she, unfortunately, got her cars wrong. Gabe thought he was rigging Lidia’s car when he accidentally he rigged her husband’s.

Gabe got the second job done right when he and his mother realized their mistake. But his dad still didn’t want to make things work with Vera and so that’s when Vera had her son teach her how to rig Gio’s office. She had to do that job herself because her son liked his dad too much to follow her orders on that one. And as it happens, Gabe only knew how to do all of that because he likes working on cars with his dad.

The detectives later talked about it and no one was sure if Gabe should be charged an adult. It wasn’t his fault that his mother manipulated him and convinced him that if he didn’t help her that she might kill herself, but one way or another, the boy was still going to have to pay for trying to make his mother happy.

There was also another situation with Cassie. Her newest coworker had a stalker that’s one of the undead. He stalked her in life and he was still following her around even in death. Both Cassie and Andy could sense his presence because it would give them migraines. It got so bad that Cassie admitted her secret to Andy. She told her that she could see dead people and she also provided proof that she wasn’t just lying. Cassie went on to tell Andy that she knew a vanishing spell when the truth was much darker. Cassie had apparently let the ghost of a serial killer in because she wanted his help. She wanted Ed to kill the ghost that was stalking her friend and he proved willing to do it if it got him access to Cassie.

Cassie was going to have to let down her walls in the future, but it was worth it to finally give Andy peace and it also taught Cassie a new form of exorcising unwanted ghosts.

Cassie was finishing up the exorcism when she saw Damien’s fiancée Sally and so she went to the hospital to be there for Damien. He hadn’t known that Sally found the ring and it gave him his own closure he realized that she had been just as excited about it as he was.

THE END!
