The Young and the Restless and Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease some real-life excitement is in the works for a soap couple. Darin Brooks (Wyatt Fuller, B&B) and Kelly Kruger (Mackenzie Browning, Y&R) are having a baby. The little one should arrive in the fall.
Kruger revealed that they have been trying to have a baby for about a year. According to People, Kelly had tried everything she knew to increase her chances of having a baby. She read many books, tried vitamins, and drove into in a healthy lifestyle. And, she said it happened when she stopped stressing and just “went with the flow.”
“It still doesn’t feel real aside from the morning sickness, fatigue, crazy changes to my body and the fact that I sobbed on the airplane watching Instant Family — it usually takes a lot to make me cry,” the Y&R actress admitted. “I get so emotional when I think about the fact that I’m growing a little human in my body that’s half me and half Darin. I cry every time I think about it!”
Darin is excited to become a father and all the chaos that goes with it. He said that his wife, Kelly has been great and handled the uncomfortable aspect of pregnancy like a champ so far.
“Kelly’s been truly amazing through this whole process! She’s been filming and working through it all, which is incredible! And just the strength and energy she has had to be the bearer of this new little life form is inspiring!” the Bold and the Beautiful star shared to People.
While the parents-to-be know that they will face pregnancy and parenting challenges, they cannot wait to experience it all. Brooks said that they have grown closer together since they found out they are having their first child.
