The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a hot pairing may be revisited. Y&R fans know Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has been having a rough time lately. Ever since Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) return, Billy’s been dealing with nightmares, dark thoughts and eerie coincidences. He believes Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) is trying to communicate with him.
Billy feels like he’s losing it, but he also thinks he knows what has to be done. His grief over Delia is driving him down a terrible path, and there’s one person who knows exactly how he feels.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) faced similar struggles and continues her battle to this day. She managed to call a truce of sorts with Adam, but she’s the only one who can truly grasp Billy’s pain.
Chloe Mitchell Bonds With Billy Abbott Over Similar Struggles
Is The Young and the Restless planning a “Chilly” reunion? Many Y&R fans noticed the chemistry in Billy and Chloe’s June cemetery scenes. Jason Thompson is great at selling pretty much any pairing. This may not be classic “Chilly,” but new versions can still be embraced and enjoyed. When Billy hugged Chloe and kissed her head so sweetly, it was easy to see the potential for another chapter.
Now that Billy’s going off the deep end and Chloe’s set to return, the possibility seems even more likely. After all, there must’ve been a reason The Young and the Restless opted for a casual recommitment ceremony for Billy and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Perhaps it was a casual recommitment for Y&R, too! “Villy” may not be meant to last, and a “Chilly” reunion could be how they crumble.
It’s easy to imagine Chloe coming back in the picture and bonding with Billy over their similar struggles. If Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) happens to be behind the gas-lighting, that’d give Chloe a reason to drift away from him. She was adamant that Billy shouldn’t go after Adam, but Kevin may view Billy as the only way to take their mutual enemy down. This could be a plan he’s leaving Chloe out of the loop on.
Will Chloe Mitchell End Up Dumping Kevin Fisher Down The Road?
The doll was placed in Billy’s bed after Kevin’s supposed departure, but he was lurking in town avoiding detection at one time. Kevin could be doing that again or letting someone like Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) help him out. Then again, maybe the plan already worked and Billy’s just that far gone. Gaslighting may not even be needed anymore.
Regardless, Chloe may wiggle out of the charges against her and dump Kevin down the road. Could that pave the way for Chloe and Billy to reunite?
