The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will remain concerned about her son. She was pleased to see a glimpse of the old Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) during his recent visit with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Unfortunately, Adam obliterated those warm fuzzies by insisting Chelsea’s turn was over and Connor should live with him instead.
Of course, Adam has indeed missed out on plenty of milestones and moments. He understandably wants more than just a day here and there with the kid, which is probably what Chelsea had in mind. It’d be best to work out a joint custody agreement, but now Adam’s riled Chelsea up. She’s prepared to fight Adam in court if need be.
Even so, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will remain hesitant to poison Connor against Adam. The kid views his dad as a hero and is thrilled to be reconnecting with him. Connor took one look at Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and could see he was a huge hurdle, so what will he do next? It’s clear that Connor’s a smart boy who’s capable of things beyond his years. He takes after his father!
Will Connor prove he’s Adam’s son with a good dose of manipulation? Is a bit of a parent trap brewing? At the very least, Connor may try to sabotage Nick and Chelsea’s relationship. Chelsea values Nick as a close friend, but they’re clearly on the verge of a renewed romance and a shared future. Connor would much rather see his mom and dad back together, so the kid may decide to do whatever he has to do.
There’s a chance Connor may even pitch his idea to Adam and get some coaching. Adam has seemingly been trying to string Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) along, but he’d undoubtedly love a “Chadam” family reunion. The chemistry and connection were still there after Chelsea showed up with Connor.
Like Chelsea, Y&R fans got a glimpse of the old Adam – the Adam that only Chelsea and Connor can bring out. However, it might take Connor playing dirty to set a “Chadam” revival in motion. Will he plot against Nick and Chelsea’s romance to get what he wants?
Connor seems like a conniving chip off the old block, so we have no doubt that he could blow up “Chick.” That’s especially true since The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Chelsea may have some buried secrets!
