The Young and the Restless spoilers has some great news to pass on about a popular Y&R star. Elizabeth Hendrickson, who portrays Chloe Mitchell on the CBS soap, has just announced that she’s expecting a baby! As CDL reported a while back, Elizabeth married Rob Meder over the summer in a beautiful ceremony, and now they’re expecting their first child.
Elizabeth made the announcement on her Instagram feed, where she posted a photo of herself and her baby bump at a photo shoot. She posted the following caption with the photo: “No, that’s not a belly full of bagels, it’s a belly full of bagels AND a BABY! We can’t wait to meet our baby GIRL, March 2020.”
Elizabeth continued: “Our journey to getting pregnant has not been easy and I’m looking forward to talking about it more publicly, hear your stories, share experiences, and learn as much as I can from all of you. I’m finally going to be a mother and I can’t wait for what’s to come!!!”
She also indicated that her friend and former GH costar Tamara Braun (Kim Nero, GH) took the behind-the-scenes photo that she posted. Of course, Elizabeth’s followers started commenting on the post like crazy and shared their well-wishes and congratulations in her feed.
Several of Elizabeth’s former and current co-stars also commented on her post, sharing in her great news and enthusiasm. Kate Linder, who plays Elizabeth’s on-screen mom Esther Valentine on Y&R, said: “Wow – I’m so happy for you. That means I’m going to be a grandmother again! Xoxo.” And Tracey E. Bregmam (Lauren Baldwin, Y&R) commented: “I’m soooo happy for you!!! I know you have wanted this for a long time. Welcome to the best part of your life!”
Elizabeth also got congratulations from Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher, Y&R), Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina Corinthos-Davis, GH), Kate Mansi (Abigail DiMera, DOOL), Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott, Y&R), and many others. Clearly, everyone is thrilled for Elizabeth, and we are, too!
It will be interesting to see whether Elizabeth’s pregnancy is written into Y&R, or whether we’ll just be seeing her positioned behind some big purses and other objects in the months to come.
