The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that several storylines will rev up in the coming weeks. February sweeps is rapidly approaching, so it’s time to get ready for all the drama. Let’s take a look at the chaos ahead and see how things will turn out for many crucial characters.
For starters, the J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) saga’s conclusion will come with some shocking twists. Someone will take the rap for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and cause chaos within the cover-up alliance. There’s a good chance Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be the one who comes forward. He’d have a motive to protect Nikki and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at all costs.
However, the girls’ night gang will all face some trouble eventually. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers’ (Gina Tognoni) involvement in all this will be exposed. They’ll all be at each other’s throats, but Phyllis will take steps to protect herself. She’ll manage to intensify her rivalry with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki, Victoria and even Nick.
As everything blows up, a new mystery will take center stage. Perhaps that’ll have something to do with the person tormenting the ladies and framing Victor. Having someone else take the fall surely wasn’t part of the plan. The Young and the Restless spoilers say this will build to some crazy showdowns during February sweeps. Y&R fans will definitely be on the edge of their seats as stunning truths come to light.
Of course, Valentine’s Day will bring some lighter scenes. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) haven’t been spotted much lately, but they’ll be around for a romantic evening.
The same goes for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela), so Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) won’t succeed in destroying their relationship – not yet anyway!
Mia’s marriage, on the other hand, could be a different story. Y&R spoilers say we’ll see more problems for Rey and Mia. Sharon will be happy to serve as a friend to Rey, but she’d clearly like to be more. Will Sharon get the chance and if so, will she take advantage of it? Rey and Sharon’s sexual tension is an explosion just waiting to happen, so don’t be surprised if they heat things up soon.
Over with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), his secret kisses with Victoria won’t be so secret anymore. You can bet the news of this betrayal will spread fast. As a result, Cane will face some serious family drama. Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) may turn against their dad, but what about Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil)? Will she learn the truth and push for a divorce?
Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker) will also cause stress for his parents. Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will struggle to find the right balance. They’ll want to help Fen, but he’s also an adult who has to make his own mistakes. As for Fen’s growing bond with Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott), that could take a steamy turn sooner or later.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) will also reenter the picture. She’ll undoubtedly stir up trouble for Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Finally, Kerry Johnson’s (Alice Hunter) secret will cause issues. It looks like Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will find out what Kerry’s hiding and have to deal with it as part of the February sweeps chaos.
